I split them into sections that deal with what I believe are the main tenets of the novel; There’s also a section of general questions and some just for fun.
Before We Get into the Romance
1. Porscha spends much of the novel being perceived as 'the strong Black woman.' How did that expectation help her, and how did it hurt her?
2. What did becoming CEO cost Porscha emotionally before the story even begins?
3. The book asks whether success automatically brings happiness. Do you think Porscha was happy at the beginning of the novel?
